The Helix//Loom™ is SunBorn's translation apparatus — the protocol that converts inherited cultural code into wearable form. Sankofa is its first volume.
Sankofa means go back and fetch it. Not nostalgia — retrieval. The instruction is to reach into what came before, take what still works, and carry it forward into what you're building now.
The Kinetic Engine is what that instruction looks like rendered as cloth. The loom was the first computer: five hundred years before the language of engineering existed, weavers across West Africa were encoding family, region and meaning into thread — pattern as protocol, garment as transmission. The Kinetic Engine takes that same logic and draws it as gear-motif circuitry — a system, not a print. What changes across the line is the register it runs in.

[ THE TRIO ]
Three colorways, three names, one engine.
Royal Purple carries the ground code. Purple was the hardest color in the ancient world to make and the most restricted to wear — the pigment of rulers by law, not by taste. We put it on training wear.
Adaeze Pink — Adaeze, Igbo for "daughter of a king." Where Royal Purple carries the weight of rule, Adaeze Pink carries the line of succession — inheritance, not imitation.
Sango Orange takes its name and its charge from Ṣàngò, the Yoruba orisha of fire, thunder and lightning. Where the purple is restraint and the pink is lineage, the orange is voltage — the engine running hot.
Same gear-motif architecture underneath all three. What you're choosing is which register of the code you're wearing.
