The Helix//Loom™ is SunBorn's translation apparatus — the protocol that converts inherited cultural code into wearable form. Sankofa is its first volume.

Sankofa means go back and fetch it. The bird turns its head to what's behind and keeps walking forward — both directions at once, no contradiction.

The Kinetic Engine is that instruction drawn as a circuit. West African weavers were running a punch-card system centuries before anyone called it that: thread as data, cloth as the record, the loom as the machine that read it. The gear-and-circuit geometry running down these leggings is that idea brought forward on purpose — royal purple against forge copper, signal cyan marking the live traces. The pigment once restricted to rulers, printed on something you'll sweat through.

The print goes down first. Then the fabric is cut and sewn. The pattern was never applied to the garment — the garment was built out of the pattern.

PHASE 2: TRANSIT DATA

  • Split Shipments: Multi-item orders may dispatch in separate packages. Each has its own tracking.

  • Defect Returns: 14-day window from delivery for replacement or refund on manufacturing deviations. Photographic evidence required.
