[ N'DONSO™ // BOMBER JACKET ]
A bomber cut in the Hunter's Road print. The N'Donso™ motifs run across the body and both sleeves, a band of three stripes crosses the chest and wraps round to the back, and a single stripe drops down each arm. The stripes come back at the collar and the hem, with a block of zigzag either side of the zip, and the cuffs stay plain pink so the print has an edge to stop at.
N'Donso means my hunter. In the Mande world of Mali, Guinea, Burkina Faso and Côte d'Ivoire, the donso were the hunters' brotherhood. They knew the bush and its medicine, and they walked out first so the people behind them knew the way. The print takes its motifs from that road and from the raffia cloth of the Kuba kingdom: zigzag columns for the path, linked rings for the brotherhood, and nested triangles for the marks a hunter leaves to find his way home.
It goes over a plain tee or on top of a hoodie. Pair it with the N'Donso™ Men's Joggers for the full look. Eze Pink is the first colorway, and more are coming.
