[ N'DONSO™ // ZIP HOODIE ]
A black full-zip hoodie that keeps the N'Donso™ print up high: across the shoulders and upper chest, inside the hood, at the cuffs, and in a single column down the spine. A three-stripe band wraps the chest just under the print. Below it, a strip of print runs between the front pockets, the pocket edges pick up the stripes, and the same stripes run down each sleeve and close out the hem.
N'Donso means my hunter. In the Mande world of Mali, Guinea, Burkina Faso and Côte d'Ivoire, the donso were the hunters' brotherhood. They knew the bush and its medicine, and they walked out first so the people behind them knew the way. The print takes its motifs from that road and from the raffia cloth of the Kuba kingdom: zigzag columns for the path, linked rings for the brotherhood, and nested triangles for the marks a hunter leaves to find his way home.
Most of the body stays plain black, so it works with what's already in your closet. Black joggers, dark denim, or the N'Donso™ Men's Joggers if you want the whole road. Uhie Red is the second N'Donso™ colorway, after Eze Pink.

The Pattern: N'Donso™ print across the shoulders and upper chest, the hood lining, both cuffs, a strip between the front pockets, and a column down the center back with a small SunBorn mark. Three-stripe band across the chest and back, striped pocket edges, stripes down each sleeve, and a striped hem. Black body.

The Print: Sublimation-printed, then cut and sewn. The ink is dyed into the fiber rather than sitting on top, so it won't crack or peel.

The Detail: Full-length zipper with metal details, double-lined hood with drawstrings, front pockets, self-fabric collar and cuffs.

The Fit: Relaxed unisex fit with drop shoulders, 2XS–6XL. Between sizes, go up.

The Care: Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors. Close the zipper first. Don't bleach. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Don't iron directly on the print, and don't dry clean.
