[ ANANSENOVA™ SET // BRA + POCKET LEGGINGS ]
The spider does not explain the web. It simply builds — and every strand holds a story.
AnanseNova™ takes its source code from Ananse, the Akan trickster-spider credited with carrying the world's stories from the sky god to humankind. The hexagon — the geometry of the web cell — is the recoded motif here, engineered onto AsaseFlex™ stretch fabric. Same textile logic as the Sankofa line. Different source code.
Bra and leggings move as one system here, not two separate purchases hoping to match. This pairs the Longline Sports Bra straight to the Pocket Leggings — one colorway, one hexagon system, sternum to ankle. One less decision before the work starts.

[ ARCHITECTURE ]
-
Introducing AsaseFlex™: Asase — Akan for earth, honoring Asase Yaa, goddess of fertility, procreation, and the ground beneath every proverb — plus Flex, the engineering underneath the print.
-
The Spec: AsaseFlex™ stretch on both pieces — 78% polyester, 22% elastane (US); 74% recycled polyester, 26% elastane (EU). 8.56 oz/yd² / 290 g/m² (US). Leggings rated UPF 50+.
-
The Pattern: Hexagon web-cell system carried from the longline bra front into the leggings, with a solid waistband in the colorway's base tone — one system across both pieces, not two prints trying to match.
-
The Build: All-over sublimation print — printed onto the fabric first, then cut and sewn, so the hexagon system won't crack, peel, or fade.
-
The Detail: Double-layered compression front, mesh lining, and removable padding in the racerback bra; high-waisted, semi-compression fit with two side pockets and a triangle gusset on the leggings.
-
The Fit: True to size — bra XS–3XL and leggings 2XS–6XL, sized independently so each piece fits the body it's on.
-
The Length: Leggings inseam runs 26" (2XS–3XL) to 26⅜" (4XL–6XL) — see the size guide.
-
The Colorways: Oji Black, Ugo Purple, Adaeze Pink, Igwe Blue™ — one shared color across both pieces.
